VISIONEERING TECHNOLOGIES NOW OFFERS NATURALVUE ENHANCED MULTIFOCAL

Visioneering Technologies Inc. (VTI) recently introduced NaturalVue (etafilcon A) Enhanced Multifocal 1 Day Contact Lenses that feature the TripleTear Lubrication System and a new Ultra-Tapered Edge.

The TripleTear Lubrication System utilizes three comfort agents, including hyaluronic acid, that work together to provide hydration and lubrication, to lock in moisture, and to maintain a clean surface to stabilize tears, according to the company. The new Ultra-Tapered Edge is designed for optimal fit and comfort and to help the natural circulation of tears around the lens. Additionally, the lens has a Class 2 UV blocker.

The NaturalVue Enhanced Multifocal features a center-distance aspheric extended-depth-of-focus (EDOF) design. For myopes, VTI says that the Neurofocus Optics technology induces peripheral myopia without compromising vision. For presbyopes, the lens provides spectacle-level visual acuity, with excellent vision at near, intermediate, and far, according to the company.

Parameters include 8.3mm base curve, 14.5mm diameter, sphere powers of +4.00D to –12.25D in 0.25D steps, and one universal EDOF design with effective add up to +3.00D. The U.S. rollout will continue into 2022, with a global launch planned to follow. Visit vtivision.com . ■

DANELLI OCULAR CREATIONS LAUNCHES MYBOCLEAN SYSTEM

Danelli Ocular Creations LLC announced the release of MyboClean Daily Eyelid Cleansing Brush and MyboClean Hydrating Lids and Lash Cleansing Gel.

MyboClean Daily Eyelid Cleansing Brush is a U.S. Food and Drug Administration Class 1 Silicone Medical Device designed to help patients manage dry eye disease associated with meibomian gland dysfunction/blepharitis. Its patent-pending design was engineered to allow for safe and effective removal of biofilm, and its contoured design and tapered bristles allow for maximum removal of scurf, collarettes, and clear sleeves associated with both Demodex and Staphylococcal blepharitis, according to the company.
