Peeq Pro has launched the Peeq Waiva, an organic sponge designed to gently and effectively clean eyelids and the skin around the eyes.
The at-home, handheld cleansing device is designed for daily use, utilizing vibration to loosen and absorb eye makeup that can also stimulate improved functioning of eyelid glands, according to the company. The Waiva also includes a bristled side surface to clean the entire face. According to the company, cleansing can help reduce the risk of eye infections and other eye problems.
Peeq Waiva is available for purchase at select eyecare practices.

According to the company, the AMMC framework provides data on the eye’s expected length growth, considering age and gender, and offers axial length growth speed comparison to a broad demographic database. AMMC also allows eyecare practitioners (ECPs) to observe and assess axial length growth over time and overlay treatments, and according to Haag-Streit, this makes it possible to rapidly understand therapy effectiveness, enabling ECPs to adjust patients’ therapies as required.
A simplified visualization of myopia progression can be presented with a flexible and customizable Myopia Report, which is based on Myopia.care . It’s designed to enable parents to participate in the myopia management process and appropriate treatment.
Eschenbach Optik Introduces LED Lamp to Assist Those with Low Vision
Eschenbach Optik of America Inc. has introduced the Elumentis LED Lamp designed to help those who have low vision see better.
According to the company, the lamp allows users to select the optimal light color temperature and brightness level needed to maximize their viewing environment. The energy-efficient LEDs last up to 25,000 hours and provide light in three different color temperatures: warm white (2,700K), neutral white (4,800K), and cool white (6,400K), Eschenbach Optik shares.
The Elumentis LED lamp extends up to 21 inches tall and folds down to 2.5 inches. The lamp head tilts in several directions, and the lamp arm can be moved from the top and bottom joints. In addition to focused illumination, the lamp features an ambient light option designed to help brighten a room by providing light from the top of the lamp head.
