March 10, 2024  Eaglet Eye announced the global release of a new software for the Eye Surface Profiler (ESP): Prime 6.4 Multimodal. Focused on streamlining specialty contact lens fitting, this update introduces a dedicated space for each lens modality—sclerals, orthokeratology, corneal GP, custom soft, and hybrid—empowering users with intuitive navigation and improved features.

One of the enhancements is the introduction of a lens diameter and fit axis overlay, providing immediate insights into critical aspects of scleral lens design. Additionally, a display of the photopic pupil facilitates assessing orthokeratology fits. Optimizations have also been implemented to reduce scan sizes, minimize storage requirements, and accelerate the ordering system.
