Oculus Inc. is launching the Myopia Software Package on the Pentacam AXL Wave. Specifically, the Pentacam AXL Wave is now equipped to support assessing axial length growth rate, refractive error, corneal stability, and corneal health; explaining their clinical significance to patients; and fitting contact lenses and evaluating orthokeratology treatment success. The Myopia Software Package launch includes the following displays: growth curves, GRAS module, myopia guide, and growth control.

The Pentacam AXL Wave captures tear film-independent scans of high-resolution Scheimpflug tomography, biometry, wavefront aberrometry, objective refraction, and retroillumination.
