Bausch + Lomb (B+L) announced the appointment of Dr. Rob Nadler as senior vice president, business development and corporate strategy. Based in the United Kingdom, Dr. Nadler leads the company's global business development and corporate strategy team, helping advance strategic initiatives and evaluate opportunities that support the long-term growth of Bausch + Lomb's global eye health business.
Dr. Nadler brings more than 20 years of experience spanning ophthalmology, business development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, and investment banking. An ophthalmologist by training, he most recently served as chief growth officer at Optegra Eye Health Care, where he led business development and integration activities. Prior to Optegra, he served as chief growth officer at Rayner, a global ophthalmology company, where he was responsible for business development, growth initiatives, and research and development.
Earlier in his career, he held investment banking positions at William Blair, Perella Weinberg Partners, and Nomura/Lehman Brothers, advising health care and life science companies on strategic transactions and growth opportunities.
Before transitioning into corporate leadership roles, Dr. Nadler practiced as an ophthalmologist within the United Kingdom's National Health Service. He earned bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery, and bachelor of science degrees from Imperial College, London.
