Zhaoke Ophthalmology Limited announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire global rights to NVK002 (atropine sulfate eye drops), a proprietary low-concentration atropine formulation for slowing myopia progression in children. Under the deal, Zhaoke obtains worldwide ownership of all intellectual property, regulatory filings, clinical data, trademarks, and manufacturing capabilities associated with NVK002. The agreement supersedes the original 2020 regional license under which Nevakar Pharmaceuticals had granted Zhaoke rights covering Greater China, South Korea, and 11 Southeast Asian markets.

As part of the transaction, Zhaoke granted Nevakar a perpetual, royalty-free, exclusive license to develop and commercialize NVK002 in the United States. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
