NEW SCLERAL DESIGN LAUNCHES
Advanced Vision Technologies (AVT) recently announced the newest edition to its flagship Naturalens family of GP lenses—the Naturalens Scleral, which offers several new design features.
AVT says that the Naturalens Scleral simplifies the proper diameter selection with the Maximum Limbal Indicator (MLI) markings. Four zones, including the central optical zone, para-central zone, limbal zone, and the haptic (landing) zone, are independently adjustable to create an ideal fit, according to the company. The Naturalens Scleral is available in a front-toric design, a toric peripheral curve (PC) design, and a back-aspheric multifocal design with a secondary distance zone to help alleviate glare and flare at night. Diameters range from 15mm to 22mm; the Lift is available in 10 steps Flat/Steep; and the lenses can be made in any base curve, sphere power, cylinder power, and axis.
With the new, all-inclusive pricing and a SimpleFit Warranty Program, Naturalens Scleral lenses are 100% warranted for 120 days with full cancellation credit and no charge for refits or add-ons (except multifocals).
AVT says that the Naturalens Scleral utilizes a 21-lens diagnostic set and a simplified fitting guide to ensure a successful fit for patients who have corneas ranging from normal to extremely irregular. Call (888) 393-5374 or visit www.avtlens.com/naturalens-scleral . ■

Johnson & Johnson Vision (J&J Vision) has announced the U.S. launch of Acuvue Vita Brand Contact Lenses for Astigmatism, a daily wear, monthly replacement contact lens.
