Bruder Healthcare Becomes Exclusive Licensor of the Dry Eye Drink

Bruder Healthcare has announced an exclusive licensing agreement with Dry Eye Drink LLC, the manufacturer of a portfolio of dry eye products and drink mixes.

According to the Hilco Vision company, the drink formulations pair known anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, and antibacterial ingredients with an electrolyte hydration formula to help with ocular inflammation, tear health, and meibum oil gland production. Available in daytime and nighttime formulas consisting of several flavors, the product mixes contain green tea extract; turmeric; DHA/omega-3; and Vitamins A, B3, B6, B12, and C.

Haag-Streit Launches New Corneal Ectasia Display for the Eyestar 900

Haag-Streit has launched a new corneal ectasia display for the Eyestar 900 swept-source-based precision optical coherence tomography (OCT) analyzer. The new display features OCT-based topography for elevation information of the cornea front and back surface, pachymetry maps and profiles, Belin ABCD grading, and complementary parameters to support corneal specialists in identifying even the slightest signs of ectatic changes, and the first signs of keratoconus, according to Haag-Streit.

The Anterior Chamber Suite also boasts 12mm Class A-topography of the anterior and posterior cornea, providing high-resolution 18mm diameter OCT images of the anterior chamber, including the crystalline lens, for visual inspection of key structures such as lens position, ICL vault, or chamber angle.

Visionix USA has introduced its next-generation, multimodal optical coherence tomography (OCT) system, the Optovue Solix FullRange OCT, in North America. According to the company, Optovue Solix is built upon the foundation of high-speed spectral domain OCT (SD-OCT) with 120kHz ultra-high-speed scanning. Optovue Solix FullRange OCT features encompass full-range anterior 18 x 6.25 scans; new posterior high-density scan patterns that deliver more detail and better precision; and integrated cameras for fundus, external photography, and external infrared imaging.

Optovue Solix is available in two platforms: the FullRange and fully featured multimodal Solix system and Solix Essential for eyecare professionals who are not interested in full-range or multimodality. Optovue Solix Essential offers Visionix’s proprietary scans and software that has new advanced scan patterns.
