As we celebrate Contact Lens Spectrum's 40th Anniversary, we will look back, forward, and all around in terms of the field of contact lenses. This month, we look back, with the help of CLS's Contact Lens Centennial edition, printed in 1987. In looking at the table of contents, it is fascinating to think how far we had come in the first 100 years, let alone the next 40 years.
