TheLensCase (TLC) has released a new contact lens case. Working closely with UK design agency Morrama, the team has created a case that holds two ultrathin inserts. These inserts hold the cleaning fluid in which the lenses are stored. According to the company, the inserts click into place in the body of the case using virtually invisible ridges. They can be inserted and removed, when necessary, without the use of tools. Additionally, the inserts were created using a globally adopted design that prevents leakage when its lid is closed. The body of the case is made from zinc, which is both easy to recycle and 100% recyclable indefinitely, according to the company. The product includes six months of inserts. Six-month subscriptions for additional inserts are available at an additional cost.
