ABB Optical Group announced the launch of its new Delta Scleral. According to the company, Delta Scleral was created with the idea that a lens can be designed by merely indicating adjustments in relation to a baseline diagnostic lens. Delta Scleral has a unique parameterization in which the Dx reference lens plus the clearance changes to that lens are the lens parameters. Fit adjustments are localized and insulated from each other to avoid unwanted changes to the fit elsewhere, according to the company. The lenses are available with diameters of 15.5, 16.5, and 17.5 mm. Modifications can be made to the base curve, central clearance, toricity, limbal clearance (flat or steep), haptic sag (flat or steep), position of the flat meridian axis on the posterior surface, and edge vaults.

Delta offers a prime warranty with which eyecare practitioners have 120 days with no-charge exchanges and unlimited adjustments, and, if the patient cancels, there’s a full refund.

ABB has also launched new HydroPure MPS and HydroPure Lubricating Eye Drops for both soft and GP lenses. HydroPure MPS can be used to clean, disinfect, eliminate protein, rinses, and stores lenses in a single all-in-one solution. It is available in 3.4 and 12 fl oz bottles, both with a lens case. HydroPure Lubricating Eye Drops are a preservative free lubricating eye drop that provides temporary relief for all types of dry eyes. It is available in a 0.33 fl oz container.
