The British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) has joined the Global Myopia Awareness Coalition(GMAC). According to the organization, this partnership expands GMAC’s global network and strengthens its efforts to raise awareness and promote action on childhood myopia worldwide.

BCLA plays a key role in advancing education, knowledge sharing, and professional networking both in the U.K. and internationally. Through its Global Ambassadors program, BCLA unites experts from around the world to drive research, foster skill development, and facilitate knowledge exchange—all aimed at improving patient care and promoting best practices in myopia management.
