It is time for us to begin editorial planning for Contact Lens Spectrum (CLS) for 2020—what a fun year to consider. We make the process as inclusive as possible in that we ask for input from all interested parties, especially our readership. Along these lines, we also like to consider what is trending so that we can balance and distribute the content that our readers most wish to hear. To that end, please send us your topics of interest to clspectrum@pentavisionmedia.com. Also, if you have an interest in writing for CLS, please let us know.

To determine the impact of our content, we used Google Analytics to review articles published online in CLS in 2018; the Top 10 most viewed are presented below. First, we congratulate these authors for their remarkable impact. Second, the topics in the Top 10 articles list are fairly broad in coverage; there are prescribing trends, multifocals, keratoconus and cross-linking, presbyopia, colored contact lenses, and myopia control. I think that this shows the continued importance of maintaining broad coverage of all topics related to contact lenses in the years to come.
