GENTLEDROP EASES DIFFICULTY IN USING EYE DROPS
Designed to eliminate the guesswork of aiming eye drops, Robert Kinast, MD, and Ashely Hayden, MD, teamed up to invent GentleDrop.
GentleDrop is a sleeve made of reusable silicone that fits over most cylindrical 5ml, 10ml, and 15ml eye drop bottles. According to the company, when placed on the bridge of the nose, the device positions the bottle tip over the eye.
After designing a prototype from modeling clay, Dr. Kinast won a grant from the American Glaucoma Society to test his design. Visit dropbetter.com . ■
