OPTEJET DISPENSER DELIVERS EASIER, MORE ACCURATE DOSE
Eyenovia Inc. has introduced the Optejet dispenser, designed to administer a precise dose of 8μL of medication to the eye.
Using Eyenovia’s Microdose Array Print technology, the Optejet dispenser works by delivering ophthalmic solutions horizontally through a precision spray. Medication is administered as a directional mist in a micro-droplet array, coating the corneal surface of the eye like pixels, according to the company. Eyenovia also notes that contact happens at low velocity, which minimizes ocular impact.
