CooperVision recently held its 2025 Student Leadership Society Summit at its 3 major facilities in Rochester, New York. Specifically, on World Optometry Day, March 23, close to 50 members of CooperVision’s Student Contact Lens Leadership Society and Student Myopia Leadership Society participated in hands-on fitting workshops, among other activities. Additionally, participants received tours of the company’s manufacturing and global distribution facilities in Scottsville and West Henrietta, New York.

CooperVision Student Leadership Society members are second- and third-year optometry students selected by faculty from each school to serve a 1-year term. In addition to the educational summit, Student Leadership Society members receive a grant to attend the American Academy of Optometry’s annual meeting where there are networking opportunities to learn from industry leaders and their peers.
