Topcon Healthcare Inc. announced the appointment of Tilman Otto, PhD, as the vice president of technology innovation and incubation. In his new role, Dr. Otto will be shaping the next generation of technology solutions that will support Topcon’s “Healthcare from the Eye” initiative.

Prior to joining Topcon, Dr. Otto was the head of technology management at Heidelberg Engineering GmbH, where he led the technology strategy for ophthalmic imaging systems and managed the intellectual property filings for several major innovations.
