Kathryn Saunders, PhD, FCOptom, is a professor at Ulster University. In this interview, we discuss predicting axial length in the absence of a biometer and predicting myopia onset. Dr. Saunders and her colleagues have developed Predicting Myopia Onset and Progression Risk Indicator (PreMO)—a free digital health app that provides a rapid evidence-based risk stratification and management guidance for childhood myopia.
